After a busy day working in our new London office, Ruth and myself were lucky enough to go to the XFM winter wonderland gig at the Brixton Academy.
It was a kick-start to the party season and a chance to see some great new bands and old favourites!
LadyHawke was brilliant and the Kaiser chiefs really got the crowd going with some well-known anthems. We had a really fab night and even managed to sneak in a bit of celeb spotting!

Stylist needed for fasahion event this Saturday
Dear Karen,
I am organising a unique and stylish fashion event - a Clothes Swap Party, exclusively for tall women, this coming Saturday 17 January 09, between 2 and 6pm.
I’m looking for a tall fashion stylist to be at the event. The stylist would be able to advertisie her services while mingling among us and perhaps give a short talk on the best way to dress a tall body.
All the women attending are 5ft 10″ and over, most of them live or work in London.
I will be able to pay your expenses and give you a gift of a piece of my handmade jewellery as a thank you. It would be a great opportunity to advertise your styling services and network with lots of fashion-conscious women in London.
